Coffaro<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  As a 25-year veteran from the medical device industry, I am often asked, \u201cHow did you get into software?\u201d I have been fortunate to work with some of the biggest medical device companies in the world. These include Johnson and Johnson, Zimmer Biomet, and Stryker. As a Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and Distributor, I was privileged to work with some of the most talented and hardest working people in the industry. Many of those sales associates have become lifelong friends. I have always enjoyed teaching and mentoring, even when my sales teams have grown larger than 50 people. Throughout the progression of my career, I maintained that intrinsic passion of wanting to learn and teach. This is when I met our CEO and Founder, Dr. Danny Goel (Danny). We had a very casual conversation at the AAOS 2019 and for those that know him, understand his calm and humble demeanor. We clicked instantly and things moved quickly towards my current role as VP of Sales and Marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I became part of the PrecisionOS culture, several critical segments were apparent. Working for a software company has been a unique experience for me. Even though I have over 25 years of healthcare experience, my sales background has become a valuable resource. I am often encouraged to share my opinions and thoughts and as Danny always says, \u201cEveryone\u2019s opinion matters\u201d. The culture in our office is fun and laid back, but respectful. We work hard, and are passionate about what we do, but also know how to have fun. A core pillar of our company is to think of the patient first. Everything we do rests on the foundation of \u201cHow will this benefit the patient?\u201d. A second pillar is to validate our technology through high quality and peer-reviewed studies. Our software is backed by science, technology, and clinical research. Over the last year, we have successfully published a (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/journals.lww.com\/jbjsjournal\/Abstract\/2020\/03180\/Improved_Complex_Skill_Acquisition_by_Immersive.14.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>JBJS<\/strong><\/a>) \u00e9tude marquante et en avoir une deuxi\u00e8me en route. Cette \u00e9tude a jet\u00e9 des bases solides sur lesquelles nous pouvons nous appuyer pendant que plusieurs autres projets de recherche sont en cours. En tant que membre du monde de la sant\u00e9, je comprends l&#039;importance d&#039;une science et d&#039;une technologie de qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un autre pilier central de notre entreprise est de nouer des partenariats solides avec des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et des institutions orthop\u00e9diques. Les pr\u00e9cieux conseils que nous recevons de leurs dirigeants nous aident \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es concernant nos futurs produits et la strat\u00e9gie de l&#039;entreprise. Avant COVID-19, PrecisionOS, en partenariat avec AO Spine, allait h\u00e9berger le tout premier&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.precisionostech.com\/fr\/precision-os-to-host-first-ever-cadaver-less-training-course-for-surgeons-at-the-global-spine-congress\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>cours de formation sans cadavre<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;pour les chirurgiens au Global Spine Congress, \u00e0 Rio de Janeiro. Malheureusement, le cours a \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9 en raison de la pand\u00e9mie; Cependant, nous pr\u00e9voyons de reprogrammer cela pour 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un troisi\u00e8me pilier central, de notre entreprise, consiste \u00e0 utiliser notre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.precisionostech.com\/fr\/vr-training\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.precisionostech.com\/vr-training\/\">Technologie de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle<\/a> am\u00e9liorer la formation des chirurgiens en\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.precisionostech.com\/fr\/sign-fracture-care-international-and-precision-os-join-efforts\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Pays en voie de d\u00e9veloppement<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0et d&#039;\u00e9lever le niveau de soins pour toutes les personnes dans le monde, ind\u00e9pendamment des barri\u00e8res socio-\u00e9conomiques. It has been a cool experience and has allowed me to get to know my coworkers in a deeper and more personal way. One of the computer engineers is a gifted musician and has performed for us on multiple occasions.
